Lynda's Music Studio is a patron of all arts in Douglas Shire. Lynda Irvine was one of the driving forces behind the fundraising and purchase of a $65,000 Kawai Grand Piano that was gifted to Douglas Shire Council and is accessible to everyone in the community.
I have many teaching qualifications including Associate & Licentiate Music Teachers of Trinity College London and a number of Professional Memberships, all of which mean I am very qualified to teach music. None of these express my passion to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy learning music. My teaching philosophy recognises that no two students learn in the same way or want to learn the same genre of music. This flexibility in my teaching curriculum means my students learn music skills that they will be using to enjoy making music long after they conclude formal lessons.
